Bio
Ruby Ella Brooks is the first born child of George and Minnie Brooks of Williamsfield. George is the brother of Ellen Brooks Woodworth (famous for being the mother of Bama Ford).
George and Minnie married young and moved away from home. They had their first two children all the way out in Colorado. They lived in Kansas and other places as well.
After roaming around the country, they headed back east, settled in Warren, Ohio. and produced three more children: Edith, Ruth and Howard.
Ruby never married and in 1940 census records prove that she was living with her then widowed cousin, the lovely Edith E Woodworth - Bama Ford!
