Bio
At the age of 24, Martha Barrett married Joshua Brooks on Feb 27, 1780. By October of that year she gave birth to her first son, Joshua G Brooks.
She would go on to have 6 more children until her death from smallpox at 36. She is buried in the Town Hill cemetery in Lincoln Mass and all I can say is, "God rest her poor tired soul!"
