Bio
William Charles Oakley is the second husband of Dorothy Schrom, and step-father to our Aunt Mary Shepherd. We believe he was about 26 when he enlists to fight in WWII and returns home in 1944. He then becomes a lawyer. He meets the widow Dorothy and they are soon married. He and Dorothy have a daughter together named Joan.
