The information we have on James Williams is very limited and a little sketchy. Census records prove he was born around 1830 and lived with older sister Anne and Bridgette, and had an older brother named John.

John and James are close as we find them living together along with John's new wife in 1851. You have to be a pretty good big brother to let your 20-year-old brother live with you when you are first married. James may have gone on to marry and have children but it isn't certain. The search for facts will continue and profiles will be updated when evidence is available.

We have a story told to us from a first cousin 3 times removed, named Jack Hughes. He claims to be the great, great, great grandson of John Williams, and states that through family stories he was told that James Williams hung himself and died in the summer of 1875.
